“Because you needed each other. I could not deprive you of the revelation of all that you could accomplish together. Of a friendship that would define you both, in ways you cannot yet realize.”
Ugh, guys. I can’t even explain my Star Trek feels. GO SEE THE SECOND FILM, it is so full of found-family emotions. I can’t.
Oh this movie. Oh these movies. I WAS DROWNING IN BROMANCE AND STILL I DEMAND(ED) MORE.
Well - if you don’t mind a random smattering - I could list off four of my absolute favorites. Though when I went to look for them…I realized…they all lead to slash. This is acceptable, yes? I’m going with yes. (If need be, mind the ratings, but most of it can be easily skipped over…also, I can totally find tamer recs if you want, I swear. >A>)
Home (Long and actually unfinished, though!)
Through Blind Men’s Eyes (This author also has an unbearably cute story Ivy Crown/Daffodil Time with Spock and Kirk growing up together, ULTIMATE FLUFF.)
Oasis (Fun with alternate realities! Um. Bit on the dark/adult side.)
I’d recommend pretty much anything by any of these authors - they each have different opinions on and insights into the characters. It’s downright fascinating.
